Seven deadly sins

invidia

L’invidia è tanto contraddittoria quanto subdola. Talmente subdola che sta alla base di tutti gli altri peccati capitali. Verde è l’invidia riflessa nei suoi occhi, verde è lo sguardo di chi brama.

Envy

Avarizia

E’ possibile soddisfare i tuoi bisogni. E’ impossibile soddisfare la tua avarizia.

Lussuria

La lussuria è solo un dolce veleno per i più deboli, ma per coloro che lo desiderano con il cuore di un leone è il Vino dei vini.

Pride

La superbia del pavone è la gloria di Dio.

Accidia

E’ il peccato che non crede in niente, che non tiene a niente, non cerca di sapere niente, interferisce con niente, gioisce di niente, non odia niente, trova scopo in niente, vive per niente e rimane vivo perché non c’è niente per cui morire.

sloth

It is the sin that believes in nothing cares for nothing seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing and remains alive because there is nothing to die for.

Ira

Come il vortice nella sua furia sradica gli alberi, e deforma il volto della natura, o come il terremoto nelle sue scosse stravolge intere città, così la furia di un uomo arrabbiato getta rancore intorno a lui.

Wrath

As the cyclone in its fury uproots trees, and deforms the face of nature, or as the earthquake in its shocks overwhelms cities, so the fury of a wroth man throws grudge around him.
